Community Service: Hurricane Supplies for the Elderly

CIIPA's Membership Engagement Committee once again calls for volunteers to assist with its annual hurricane supply kit preparation community service event, organised in partnership with Meels On Wheels. This event provides seniors across the community with necessary supplies for the 2023 hurricane season, which starts 1 June. 

The event is being held over two sessions on Saturday, 17 June at KPMG, in Cricket Square. Volunteers can sign up for one or both of the following: 

Kit packaging
10 a.m. - Noon: Volunteers assist with packing kits with groceries or other goods in plastic bins. 

Delivery
1-3 p.m.: Volunteers pick up packaged hurricane kits from KPMG and deliver them to senior citizens throughout the island (please indicate upon registering whether you'd be willing to deliver to the Eastern Districts). 

Volunteers will each receive participation certificates, and a light breakfast in the morning while they work! Advanced registration is required to ensure we have enough volunteers for both sessions. Please select one (or both) sessions when registering.
