Description/Overview:

This session will focus on how audit firms need to respond to new and revised Standards which apply from December 2022. It will include a case study on how a small/medium sized firm could approach setting quality objectives, and assess and respond to risk. The session will include:

  • Overview of ISQM 1, ISQM 2 and ISA 220 Revised
  • Establishing quality objectives
  • Risk assessment - identify and assess risks
  • Design and implementation of Systems of Quality Management
  • Monitoring and remediation processes including root cause analysis
  • Documentation
  • Using off-the-shelf solutions
  • Implementation and the possibility of early adoption
