Join CIIPA Technical Advisor Lisa Bowyer and Legal Advisor to the Financial Reporting Authority, Adam Roberts for a rerun of the popular session on the accountant's role in protecting the jurisdiction last offered in April 2017. The course has been updated to include various reform in the Cayman Islands and the Revised and Restructured Code of Ethics. The two-hour session will cover the sometimes conflicting obligations to report wrongdoing, and include detailed discussion relating to:

  • International Standards on reporting
  • Mandatory reporting under the Proceeds of Crime Law including reform
  • Obligations in regard to proliferation financing and targeted financial sanctions
  • Confidential Information Disclosure Law 2016
  • Revised and Restructured IESBA Code of Ethics effective 15 June 2019 including NOCLAR standards
  • Disclosure requirements of International Standards of Auditing #250
  • Whistleblowing obligations in the "Regulatory Laws"
  • Whistleblower Law 2015
