Cayman Islands Business Environment

Develop knowledge, skill and understanding of the general legal framework and of specific legal areas relating to business. This an entry-level course is for persons who are new to financial services in the Cayman Islands, and covers a range of specific legal areas relating to various aspects of business of most concern to accounting and finance professionals.

Participants will learn to:

• Describe and explain how companies are managed, administered and regulated
• Recognise the legal implications relating to companies in difficulty or in crisis
• Demonstrate an understanding of governance and ethical issues relating to business
