George Town, Cayman Islands, 4 April 2025

The Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA) has once again

partnered with Global International Management (GIM) to deliver a Becker Intensive

Review Programme for Cayman Islands-based students preparing to sit the Certified

Public Accountant (CPA) exams.

Becker offers various courses and programmes for those preparing to sit the exams and

is considered a global leader for CPA exam preparation and continuing professional

education in the accounting profession. Via CIIPA, members can sign up for the

programme at a discounted rate and will receive live online classes, which include the

comprehensive Becker CPA Exam Review learning platform and materials.

Five-day live webinars will be held on the following dates:

• Taxation & Regulation (REG) - 11-15 August

• Audit & Attestation (AUD) – 18 - 22 August

• Financial Accounting & Reporting (FAR) – 25 – 29 August

Based on demand, a live webinar will be held 21- 25 July for the Business Analysis and

Reporting (BAR) Discipline only.

Candidates who are eligible for the International Qualification Examination (IQEX) can

sign-up for the REG webinars the week of 11 August.

Individuals can purchase the Becker materials, for all disciplines and core sections,

through CIIPA whether attending the live webinars or self-studying.

Students and professionals can now also order, for self-study, the Enrolled Agent (EA)

Becker Review Programme.

An EA is a tax professional who is authorised by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to

represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This is the highest

national credential awarded by the IRS.

An EA's career typically includes the following:

Providing expert tax advice

Preparing tax returns

Representing clients during audits

Representing clients in appeals and collections

“We are pleased to extend our partnership with GIM. This collaboration provides local

candidates with access to the renowned Becker programmes, helping them achieve

their professional qualifications and advance their careers” CIIPA Director of Education

and Training Marilyn Layne said.
