The Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA) hosted its annual Momentum Conference on Monday, 24 Nov. at the Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, drawing professionals from across the financial services and public sectors for a full day of learning, discussion and networking.

This year’s conference focussed on some of the most important issues facing professionals today, including anti-corruption, ethics, emotional intelligence, coaching, leadership and the evolving global landscape. Attendees participated in keynote sessions, expert panels and moderated discussions that explored how professionals can drive positive change while upholding the highest standards of integrity and accountability.

“We’re proud to bring together such a high calibre of speakers and attendees each year,” said CIIPA Chief Executive Officer Sheree Ebanks. “Momentum is about progress — equipping our profession with the insights, skills and conversations needed to lead with confidence, navigate change and reinforce the values that underpin the Cayman Islands’ reputation as a world-class financial centre.”

This year’s Momentum Conference once again highlighted CIIPA’s commitment to professional excellence, ethical leadership and supporting the continued growth of the Cayman Islands community. It featured both local speakers and those from overseas.

“Momentum provides a vital space for our members and the broader business community to engage with emerging trends and deepen their understanding of the ethical and leadership challenges shaping today’s financial environment,” CIIPA Director of Education and Training Marilyn Layne said. “We are committed to empowering professionals at every stage of their careers, and this year’s programme reflected that commitment.”
