All membership applications must be completed online. Applicants are required to have all mandatory information and supporting documentation prepared and available before commencing the application, as the online system will not allow the application to proceed unless all required fields are completed and all mandatory documents are uploaded in full. Supporting documentation must be duly certified where required.
If your application is incomplete applications, or you do not upload all the relevant documentation, the application will not go through the portal.
Completed applications are reviewed on a monthly basis by the Membership and Licensing Committee (MLC). Applications recommended by the MLC are then submitted to Council for final consideration and approval.

As a result of the Cayman Islands Accountants (Amendment) Act, 2022, all individuals applying for regular membership must complete CIIPA's Cayman Islands Business Law course as a requirement of initial membership.
The basic level course will take learners through the Cayman Islands' laws which are applicable when doing business in the country and is free of charge to regular member applicants.
3 CPD credits will be awarded for successful completion of the course which includes a 45-minute timed assessment requiring a passing score of at least 70%.
