Applications can be completed online, and applicants are required to submit supporting documentation, duly certified (as necessary). Membership applications are considered monthly by the Membership and Licensing Committee (MLC) and then upon recommendation to Council for approval.

As a result of the Cayman Islands Accountants (Amendment) Act, 2022, all individuals applying for regular membership must complete CIIPA's Cayman Islands Business Law course as a requirement of initial membership.
The basic level course will take learners through the Cayman Islands' laws which are applicable when doing business in the country and is free of charge to regular member applicants.
3 CPD credits will be awarded for successful completion of the course which includes a 45-minute timed assessment requiring a passing score of at least 70%.
Details on how to access the course will be emailed to you as part of the regular member application process.
Applications must be submitted online by close of business the last day of each month for consideration at the scheduled MLC meeting the following month.
