ASSOCIATE MEMBER

CIIPA encourages applications for Associate membership from persons that do not comply with the initial and on-going requirements for Regular membership but are otherwise interested in the accounting profession in the Cayman Islands and would benefit from CIIPA membership to apply to be registered as an Associate Member.

Applicants must be aged 21 or older and of good character which will be evidenced by a letter from a professional person who has known the applicant for at least two years or by an existing member in good standing of CIIPA who has been a member for at least 5 years.

Associate members are not included on the Register of Members nor are they subject to Investigation and Disciplinary processes.

Associate Members are able to apply to register as (convert to) a Regular Member.

Good character is the only on-going obligation of Associate Members. In the event that Council no longer considers an Associate Member to be of good character, it will cancel the membership.
