INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS OF THE CARIBBEAN (ICAC)
ICAC was incorporated in 1988 and currently has a total of eight member institutes representing approximately 4,000 accountancy professionals. ICAC was recognised by IFAC as an Acknowledged Regional Grouping of accountancy bodies in 2006 and is dedicated to advancing the interest of accountants within the Caribbean.
ICAC Hurricane Relief Initiative
The ICAC has been deeply concerned about the devastation to Antigua & Barbuda,
Dominica, other Leeward Islands, the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos (TCI) that have been severely impacted by hurricanes Irma and Maria. As you are aware, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Eastern Caribbean (which includes Dominica and Antigua & Barbuda), the Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Turks & Caicos Islands Society of Professional Accountants are member bodies of the ICAC.As the regional umbrella body for the accountancy profession in the Caribbean, the ICAC stands in solidarity with and extend to the residents not only our sympathies but our support. In this regard, we have initiated a regional hurricane relief2recovery effort and invite you to partner with us in this endeavour. Through this initiative we encourage you and your members to donate to any of the various agencies established to spearhead recovery and relief efforts in Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, The Bahamas, Turks and Caicos and all other affected islands.
Mark your calendars:
